Below is a brief list of our volunteer opportunities.  To learn more about any of these opportunities, please fill in the form below and we will be in touch! 

Work Directly with Youth Through our Juvenile Justice or Parent Life Ministries

  • Bible Study or Book Club Leader – work with a co-leader to lead small groups of teens through a weekly study
  • Mentor – meet regularly with a teen at a local facility or support teens as they integrate back into their community
  •  Parent Life Leader - work with a small group of teen families to provide support and facilitate community
  • Speakers Bureau – share your testimony, teach on character, share a life skill, or help with job readiness
  • Arts Coordinator – promote arts programing in the detention facilities and coordinate submissions for FREESTYLE magazine (www.freestyleministries.com)

Engage in Support Projects

  • Bible Verse Highlighting – highlight verses in the Bibles that we give to youth (we will provide Bibles and list of verses)
  • Journals – purchase composition notebooks for the youth to use as journals, write a note of encouragement or Bible verse in the front and pray over the youth that will receive the journal

Help with Special Events

  • See the Story – assist with coordinating our monthly awareness event at various locations
  • Be the Story – assist with planning and coordinating our annual fundraising event

Other Opportunities

  • Volunteer Coordinator – volunteers are very important to us, but with a small staff, we need assistance making sure everyone is welcomed and equipped to serve
  • Administrative Volunteer – assist with data entry, newsletter and grant writing, website updates, etc.
  • Prayer Team – join us for our monthly prayer meeting
